Today we will be using WalletHub to look at our credit report and find our rental history!

Please note, if you have not gone through the Rental Kharma program, this guide does not apply for you, as rental history is not automatically included in your credit report unless you go through a 3rd party program.

First, log in to your free account, or create a new account using WalletHub. If you need to register, click "Sign Up Now!" If you already have an account, click on "Log In" at the top right corner.

Log in to your free account.

After you have successfully logged in to your WalletHub account, you will see your TransUnion score! It looks like a speedometer!

Below your score, there might be a few advertisements or recommendations. Scroll down a little more to see your accounts. You might see different types of accounts for credit cards, student loans, auto loans and maybe even some other items. Today, we are looking for Rental Kharma. Rental history will be listed as an "Other Loan" or "Other Account." You should be looking for an account named "RK/Residence." RK stands for Rental Kharma, naturally!

Sometimes, WalletHub categorizes the account as "Thrive Workplace" or "Thrive Workplace Unknown" as we used to use that shared work space address as we are a startup! That is where we spent a good amount of time developing our software, and that is the address on our original license.

Hooray! Your rental information was successfully added to your credit report! Click on the account "RK/Residence" to see more!

Not seeing "RK/Residence" yet? Typically it takes anywhere from 7-10 business days for your information to be added to your credit report after we verify and send off your rental history.

Click on "RK/Residence" to view the account! It will take you to a new page that looks like this.

Click on "Show More" to show you more details about your account. This will show you a more in-depth look at your verified rental history.

You will see that the Payment Status should be listed as "On Time." The Balance and Amount Past Due should both reflect $0, as your rent is paid in full every month. Payment History will show if you have any late payments, and the little turquoise boxes with check marks will show you most of your payment history that Rental Kharma has verified.

The Date Opened will reflect the start of your lease, as well as the Term. The Min. Monthly Payment and Highest Balance will reflect your monthly rent payment amount. You can also see at the top right hand corner the date we last Reported for the most up-to-date information for your account. You will notice that we reported a payment and uploaded that information on July 6th, 2017. This means July's rent has been verified. Sometimes, your credit report takes a little bit of time for everything to accurately display all the months that have been paid, and it might not reflect your information as quickly as we verify in the little turquoise boxes on the left.
